Of the 102 passengers aboard the Mayflower in 1620, 41 men signed the Mayflower Compact, meant to establish in writing the intentions and obligations as new residents in the land of freedom. The Compact, itself only one paragraph long, is replicated here in Governor Bradford's handwriting.
