Sweete Bag

Sweete Bag

$ 6.95

In the 17th century, people used fragrant sweete bags to perfume the air or their clothing. They were made by filling a drawstring bag with a mixture of sweet-smelling herbs.

Based on a 17th-century recipe containing Rose, Clove and Mint, this Sweete Bag is handmade in our Apothecary. Toss one in your bag, hang in your closet, or tuck in a drawer to enjoy the lovely historical fragrance.

Comes with tag including information about sweete bags as well as the original recipe from 1606.

  • Handmade at Plimoth Patuxet Museums

Please note: Ribbon color may vary
